Founded in July 2008 by Lizbeth Holstein & Sebastian Galbraith-Helps to enable you to be an individual with your bespoke premium quality stationery.
We understand that creating a bespoke product is a fulfilling and rewarding activity and all our innovations and quality control are devoted to enabling you to acquire the best designed, personalised premium quality stationery products.
Your stationery is formatted on 400gsm (heavy) card, including Gold and Silver Gilt options, or 160gsm luxury writing paper all are a joy to write on and from sustainable sources.
To ensure 100% quality control, your orders are printed at our studios in Somerset – nothing is out sourced. As short run printers we don't hold any excess stock, which enables us to pass on the savings to you without any compromise on quality, we offer a "100% money back, no quibble guarantee policy" on all stationery orders.
How we came about
Lizbeth found, after being hosted by friends and family, finding something appropriate to convey her thanks became a rather limited procedure. One’s stationery choices seemed to be restricted to plain correspondence cards or would feature some "clip art" or computer generated shape.
Inevitably Lizbeth would illustrate something on a blank card, sp;enjoy thinking of what was most appropriate then get frustrated by the shape and quality of the provided envelope. Recipients would then ask her to design something "similar" for them, but she soon found that they had more creative fire than they knew, and would come up with brilliant concepts that she would never have suggested.
The upshot was that Lizbeth started to put a portfolio of illustrations together with little regard for "what was most appropriate" as this would actually stint the real joy of personalisation that she had picked up on.
Freedom of choice to create
Finally in September 2009 the concept of allowing all illustrations to be chosen on any type of stationery was made possible through our web designer, enabling our community to "personalise" as they wanted.
We have retained the "recommended Illustrations" so as to not overwhelm the shopper, yet half the fun for us each day, as we personally print all orders to retain 100% control, is to see what artwork is chosen for which of the 30 stationery products we provide.
Social Program
Many of the venues we visit on our Honey Tree Publishing Roadshows require a donation to worthy causes and as our customers range in age from the very young to their grandparents we are delighted to be associated with a variety of charities. 4.. Located in Somerset (UK) we print and collate all our orders at our studios, nothing is out sourced.
5. All UK orders are sent by Royal Mail Packetpost™ . All our items are unable to fit through a letterbox so need to be received at the address provided. (If you are out they will leave a slip to notify you of the Royal Mail collection point that you must visit within 7 days of receipt). We recommend a work address for delivery if you are not at home during the day.
6. IF any order is found to be damaged or soiled on arrival, please notify us immediately then return to our offices. We have custom made gift boxes and further exterior shells for our paper and card products to ensure against travel damage.
7. We have a FREE Gift wrap service on all stationery - simply because it makes a difference to the recipient.
