The Limited Edition Gallery features illustrations reproduced from the original Artwork on fine art paper, mounted on cream / ivory card measuring 25.5 x 30.5cm which is a standard frame size.

These are limited to 150 per illustration. Each print is then numbered and hand signed by the artist, with the option of a personlaised message included in the mount window on request.

Digital printing is the most recent development in the reproduction of fine art. The print is proofed by the artist to ensure that it meets the required standards of clarity and colour correctness before an edition is undertaken. As with any work on paper, digital prints are best kept away from direct sunlight to avoid any colour deterioration.

Ownership of copyright: when you purchase an original we remain the owner of the copyright of our illustrations.

Our default card stock is a stunning ivory white. On various products there is also the option of cream. (Please note that gilt gold and silver beveled edges are not available in cream.)

Both these card colours complement our illustrations and fonts when printed and are traditional card options for personalised stationery.

We do not provide coloured card stock.

At HoneyTree we are delighted to provide you with your personal exclusive commissioned artwork; ideal as a gift or for your own personalised stationery collection. The illustration is exclusive to you.

The artwork is then optimized for printing and loaded to the VIP Gallery (password protected).

We retain the right to use the artwork as an example of our work for promotional purposes but not for reproduction.

HoneyTree Publishing Ltd is bound to respect customer font style and colour selections, and cannot take responsibility for these choices.

We believe we cater to nearly all accents with our fonts.

We have noticed that on some browsers and PCs the inputted characters might not render correctly, so we suggest that once you have entered your text, that you use the "send yourself a free proof facility". This ensures that you see what we receive, and in almost all cases we receive the right characters!

If you have any doubt as to the rendering of your order please contact us by e-mail (team@honeytreepublishing.com) on submission of your order, quoting your order number and we will 'hold' your order whilst we collaborate with you to ensure all is formatted correctly. 

Whilst no proofs are automatically provided with your order on request  we can furnish you with these prior to printing, but it is essential that you make this request by email with your order number at the time of ordering.

We generate precisely what the customer has submitted. Therefore, please double check carefully when placing your order. HoneyTree Publishing Ltd is not responsible for proof reading or editing customer spelling, punctuation, abbreviation, capitalisation or any other personalised text or characters.

Before you get to the payment page, you are asked if you want to request a FREE electronic proof. If selected, you are then sent straight to the proof where you can view, edit, and then confirm before we go to print. This ensures that we only print exactly what you want.

On receipt of your Wedding Invitation order, after collaboration and customer sign off, we send a sample of your chosen illustration, card type, font and font colour and envelopes. And only on acceptance of this layout do we print your entire order.

Our free gift wrap is designed to enable a direct to recipient gift solution. 

Whilst several shoppers choose to have their orders gift wrapped and these might be sent direct to them to then 'pass on' we have designed the service so that the recipient has the pleasure of opening a gift wrapped item and we would be stretched to ascertain if each delivery address is for the 3rd party, or the purchasers chosen delivery address for connivence which in many instances differs from their invoice or their home address and the likely hood of sending a product on display in error would be a huge disappointment to the purchaser as a gift for the recipient.

I hope this make some sense as we have given this a great deal of thought and trailed both systems with the existing process proving the preferred option.

Our turnaround time for your bespoke order is five weeks,  but don't forget, you will then have to address and send your invitations, so please allow yourself enough time!

It is advisable to order your wedding stationery in good time, particularly if you are planning a summer or Christmas wedding. It is suggested that invitations are sent out 10-12  weeks in advance of the day, and we prefer six weeks to complete your order. Therefore, you should think about ordering your stationery approx. four months in advance of your 'Big Day'.

(And don't forget, you may need to allow yourself extra postage time for overseas invitations!)

After placing your Wedding Invitation order, we will send you a mock up invitation to enable you to check that the printed colours are in order, as colours on different PC screens can vary. (Please see note below on Colour Reproduction)

Colour Reproduction: colours are reproduced differenly on different PC and electronic screens. The ideal resolution to view our artwork and products is 1024x768. There are various screen resolutions and this can result in small colour differences.

Furthermore, we print everything to order and specialise in small print runs.  Slight variations in paper and print colour may sometimes occur. We reserve the right to change paper or ink at any time without notice. However, our prices will remain commensurate with the quality and weight of the paper we use, and the highest HoneyTree Publishing Ltd standards will be maintained at all times.

Layout standards, including card orientation and text placement is pre-set by the studio for all items to reflect HoneyTree Publishing Ltd's design sensibilities.

Our designer gift boxes are hand-made in Cornwall and comprise a bespoke charcoal base with a white lid and black gloss foil inlaid logo on buckram paper, and are the final signature of the quality of our product presentation. Too beautiful to dismiss, they make great keepsake boxes for after the event. 

We use professional commercial short-run printing machines in order to print our heavyweight / luxury 400gsm products, and our 170 gsm premium writing paper and 170gsm envelopes.

All printing is flat printed which enables us to feature hundreds of exclusive artworks together with a good selection of our chosen fonts and font colours.  We do not provide raised, embossed or letter press techniques.

To ensure 100% quality control, all orders are printed at our studios in Somerset. Nothing is outsourced.

Different fonts can take more line space than others, so if you find your chosen font is cramped, please try a different font or change from portrait to a landscape if available.

HoneyTree Publishing displays a soft grey watermark on the back of all card stock and tags; this is a design feature of the product and is often commented on by the recipients of our beautiful stationery as a great feature.

Not only does it authenticate the hand drawn illustrations from UK artists, but reinforces the premium quality of the card, stock, envelopes, labels, and artworks.  As a dedicated social and gift stationer, (we do not produce business stationery), we are aligned with the greeting card industry where the practice of placing the printer's details on the reverse is the industry standard and mark of quality.

As we purchase our card stock pre-cut, beveled & gilted with our watermark already printed, we are unable to provide our products without the watermark.

The acroynm 'gsm' stands for grams per square metre, ie. a square metre of 400gsm card, placed on the scales will weigh just that. Paper and card is manufactured and sold by the metric tonne in Europe, so weight has always been the dominant measure when specifying paper and card requirements. Card, or board to give it its proper name, is sold using weight to give the buyer more information. 

Examples of paper types:

80gsm  - “value” photo copy paper 

100gsm - still flimsy, but sold by some personalised stationers

160gsm - A5 premium writing paper weight, used by HoneyTree Publishing

170gsm - the weight of our stunning diamond envelopes & Post Quarto writing paper

200 gsm / 300 gsm / 350gsm - not heavy enough for us to stock and supply, but sold by some personalised stationers

400 gsm - what we choose to use for our premium quality invitations and cards

We provide both square edge and subtle round edge cards in ivory white for both our 'A5' Wedding Invitations and  'A6+' Correspondence Cards. (The sizes are not strictly A5 & A6, but we refer to them in this way for easy reference and simple size guide. The actual sizes of our commissioned premium card stocks are: A6+ = 11.4 x 152 cm and A5 = 15.2 x 20.3 cm.)

With some 'A6+' products we also offer a choice of cream card stock with matching envelope.

After a delightful dinner with friends or en famille, it can be hard to find a stylish and elegant card to express your thanks. Personalised correspondence cards in heavyweight premium card provide the freedom of choice to send something unique which reflects individual personality. 

Personalised correspondence cards are perfect for all those moments when you need to jot a quick thank you for watering the plants, house sitting, dog walking, a great party, accepting an invitation or welcome to the village etc.

All of our Correspondence Cards, Invitations - including Wedding Invitations - Change of Address cards etc. are printed on premium heavy card stock to complement our professional design and the reproduction of our unique hand drawn illustrations.

At HoneyTree Bespoke we highly recommend ordering an electronic (PDF) proof of your personalised stationery in order to ensure all is 100% in order.

The proof is a watermarked printable PDF (for which you will require Adobe Acrobat to view) version of your order, which can be viewed and printed from your computer. It will make proof reading, verifying proper alignment, size and positioning of text easier. If you choose to print a copy of your proof at home, your colour printer will not print precisely the same colours that will be produced from our high quality commercial equipment. Therefore this proof should not be used for colour validation.

If you request a proof, we will automatically and instananeously save your document to your account. When your proof is ready for viewing we will e-mail you a link to it. It will reside in your "My Account/My Proofs" folder. From here you can edit your document and /or place your order.
