Promoting the importance of letter writing by hand to children, teachers and schools
Here at the HoneyTree Studios we are very excited about the start of National Stationery week (25th April – 1st May 2016) which this year is working with the National Handwriting Association, Greeting Card Association, Writing Instrument Association and the Post Office to promote the importance of letter writing by hand to children, teachers and schools.
This follows the Government’s decision to reintroduce handwriting and letter writing into the Secondary Schools’ curriculum next Autumn. We care passionately about the survival of the written word and see this as a huge step in securing this ‘art form’ for the future.
